I thought it was a bit of a waste to let all of those years of picture editing experience go to waste. So I'm still offering to turn picture detective for anyone who needs my help.

To the uninitiated, picture editors 'find' pictures. We can find existing pictures or we can commission new ones from illustrators and photographers. I can clear copyright issues and negotiate reproduction fees for you and I can arrange for pictures to be printed on to just about any surface that you require - or I can buy prints and paintings on your behalf.

So whether you're a stressed art director or picture editor who needs a spare pair of ''virtual' hands or whether you're an interior designer or just someone who's looking for a picture, feel free to run your ideas by me.

I can commission other illustrators and photographers too.

I can find pictures of anything - art for your walls, fashion, documentary photography, nature, interiors, architecture, TV, film, celebrity, food, history - you name it - it can be found and I have over 10 years experience in doing so. Finding historical prints and art are a speciality.

(Above are 3 photogravures - an old method of printing photographs in books. All three are over 76 years old and would make a wonderful triptych on a wall. Sadly, these three have been sold, but I can source others like them).
